[dropcap_1]A[/dropcap_1]nthony Speca has lived and worked in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, and his career has ranged over public policy, the financial markets, business strategy and academia. He was head of the Fiscal and Economic Policy section of the Nunavut Department of Finance, where he helped manage Nunavut’s fiscal relationship with Ottawa and served on the core team preparing Nunavut for devolution negotiations. He is especially interested in the North as an economic place, and how it is situated within the wider Canadian and global economies. Currently, Anthony is founder and Managing Principal of Polar Aspect, a consultancy dedicated to public policy, government strategy and economic negotiation in the Canadian and wider global North.
